چکیده

Egg production data used in this work were obtained from records of Fayoumi chickens flock belongs to El-Takamoly poultry project at Al-Azab, Fayoum Governorate. over a 52-wk egg laying period related 1900 hens. All was summarized on weekly basis as eggs per hen week hen-day (survivor) basis. Regarding Wood and McNally models, (a) stands for initial production, parameter value very low (0.001) both models. The increasing rate the peak (parameter b) 2.90 model 2.19 model. Similarly, c, decreasing peak, estimated be 0.08 0.06 Depending compartmental function m, n, p q represent scale parameter, measure persistency sexual maturity rate, age first egg, respectively values these parameters 86.47, 0.01, 0.23 21.61 wks age, respectively, Concerning modified A, B, C D  decrease ability, reciprocal indicator variation and  mean hens, respectively. In abovementioned 75.26, 0.006, 1.14 24.96 D According goodness fit criteria, best describing egg-laying pattern layers which had lowest Akaike information criterion Bayesian highest coefficient determination. Moreover, showed correspondence with actual day (age percentage 29.44 weeks 64.16%, respectively).

Evaluation of egg production in layers using random regression models.

The objectives of this study were to estimate genetic parameters for egg production over the age trajectory in 3 layer lines, which represent different biotypes for egg production, and to validate the use of breeding values for slope as a measure of persistency to be used in the selection program. Egg production of more than 26,000 layers per line from 6 consecutive generations were analyzed wi...

Egg production curve fitting using nonlinear models for selected and nonselected lines of White Leghorn hens.

Egg production curves describe the laying patterns of hen populations over time. The objectives of this study were to fit the weekly egg production rate of selected and nonselected lines of a White Leghorn hen population, using nonlinear and segmented polynomial models, and to study how the selection process changed the egg-laying patterns between these 2 lines. Weekly egg production rates over...

Effects of light intensity from photostimulation in four strains of commercial egg layers: 2. Egg production parameters.

The effects of light intensity (LI) from photostimulation to 45 wk of age on egg production parameters and egg size characteristics were examined in four layer strains. Floor housed pullets were raised in a light-tight facility from 1 d of age until housing in individually illuminated cages at 17 wk of age. At 17 wk of age, two white egg strains, ISA-White (ISA-W) and Shaver 2000 (S2000), and t...

Effects of Levels of Inclusion of Locally Processed Fish Waste Meal in the Diets of White Leghorn Layers on Performance Parameters, Hatchability, Economics, Egg Production and Egg Quality

The study was conducted at Haramaya university poultry farm to evaluate the effects of locally processed fish waste meal (FWM) in the diet of white leghorn layers on the performance and hatchability, egg quality, sensory flavor and profitability of the rations. One hundred eighty chickens at five months of age were randomly distributed (15 layers per each 12 pens). The pens were randomly assign...
